Plot Outline: After being wrongfully denied justice, a horse trader seeks his own justice on a treacherous rancher.
Plot: The Jack Bull tells the story of Myrl Redding, a Wyoming horse trader who clashes with Henry Ballard, a fellow rancher, after Ballard abuses two of Myrl's horses and their Crow Indian caretaker, Billy. When Judge Wilkins throws out Myrl's complaint, the war he wages to force Ballard to nurse the emaciated animals back to health escalates into a vigilante manhunt, murder and the possible defeat of Wyoming's bid for statehood.

Movie Quotes: Judge Tolliver: Myrl Redding didn't fail the law. The law failed Myrl.

Crazy Credits: We know about 2 Crazy Credits. One of them reads:
Hill House briefly appears in the blackness of the screen just before the title appears.

Goofs: We know about 4 goofs. Here comes one of them:
Anachronisms: At the end of the movie, the statehood congregation parades through town with flags containing 50 stars. The proper flag for the period would have been the 43 star flag.

Trivia: There are 15 entries in the trivia list - like these:
    • The creaks and moans heard throughout the house were pre-recorded and played during filming in order to get a more natural expression of fear out of the actors.
    • The house used in the film is located in Grantham, England and is owned by the University of Evansville (Indiana). It is used by students that study abroad.
    • The title of the movie was changed from "The Haunting of Hill House" (another film, House on Haunted Hill (1999) was to be released later that year).
